The Jazz Club Thalwil presents the concert of “The Roaring Cats”
The Roaring Cats are one of the most promising swing and hot jazz bands in Europe. Founded in 2018 by the young Amsterdammers Sam Ghezzi and Davor Stehlik, the quartet quickly developed into one of the hottest swing/hot jazz orchestras in Europe. Their repertoire consists of original arrangements of the most beautiful melodies from the 20s to the 40s such as Fats Waller, Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington and Jimmie Lunceford. Their sound, characterized by a philological awareness, reflects the evolution of music in New Orleans, a symbol of the fusion of sounds from a variety of cultures.
